Kova Atelier

Harris Tweed

Harris Tweed is the cloth at the heart of Kova Atelier. It is woven by hand in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, it is protected by an Act of Parliament, and it carries the Orb. We are proud to use the real thing in our pieces.

Woven by hand in the islanders’ homes

By law, Harris Tweed is cloth handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides.

Every step that law names happens in the islands.

In Kova Atelier pieces

We use genuine Harris Tweed on selected models, paired with leather on the arms and facings where the wear is hardest.

Using the real thing matters to us. A Kova Atelier piece in Harris Tweed carries cloth woven by hand in the Outer Hebrides, made the way the law that protects it describes.
