Frame

Lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. Non transferable.

The frame is guaranteed for as long as you own the piece. If the piece is sold or given away, the warranty does not pass to the next owner.

Leather and Upholstery

Two year warranty against defects in material and workmanship.

What Is Not Covered

Natural markings in a full aniline hide are characteristics of the material, not defects. That includes healed scars, neck and belly wrinkles, insect marks, and grain that shifts across a panel. It also includes the patina that comes with use.

A full aniline hide is not sanded and coated to look uniform. That is why it looks the way it does, and why those marks are proof the leather was never treated to hide what the animal lived.

Also not covered: damage from cleaning products, steam, heat, or any treatment we did not recommend. Damage from misuse or accident.

How to Make a Claim

Email us at info@kova-atelier.com with your order number and photographs. We will tell you within two business days whether it is covered and what happens next.

Keep your proof of purchase. The warranty is to the original purchaser and we will need to match it to the order.
